Brannas was started in 2014 in the thirsty student town of Stellenbosch. Young brandy drinkers were looking for something different, "Nie hulle Pa sê Brannas nie".... Brannas Draught was created to get those first customers excited by offering a premium 3 year brandy in a one-of-a-kind cola, served as a 600ml draught.

In 2021, Brannas Draught moved its operations to Johannesburg but still we send Brannas throughout the country.

Brannas Draught is historically served “On Tap”. Bars and Restaurants pour Brannas Draught in the same way that a draught beer is poured. This has some benefits to the customer as now, you aren’t getting a tiny little glass of Brandy but a full 600ml “Draught” of Brandy & Cola. The ratio in our Brannas draught glasses is a triple Brandy & Cola per pour.

We produce Brannas in large 20 000l batches, in a brewery setting which guarantees the quality of our product when poured on tap. Our cola is mixed from the ground up - it is not a cola sourced from any other cola companies but rather a unique mix that has evolved over the years to what it is now. The cola is the secret ingredient - less sugar than other cola’s with slightly more caffeine. It has a flavour profile that is unlike the other products in the industry.

Brannas Draught is also available as a 330ml RTD - every can has a double shot of premium Brandy giving our customer real value and is priced competitively with other brandy & cola brands.

Brannas Draught On-Tap is available around Gauteng at over 100 Bars & Restaurants around South Africa while the 330ml RTD is available throughout South Africa from major and independent bottle stores and online on Makro and Takealot.com.
